Welcome to the new blog, migrated over from http://shelbywilson.wordpress.com. I have, once again, been very lackadaisical about updating, but my recent reading of Wil Wheaton's phenomenal book, Just a Geek, I have decided to pick this up again. I realize that this is a place where at least I can stay in practice with my writing. What I write on here might not be the next great American novel, but at least I will be writing something, which is more than I can say about the dearth of material that I have produced in the last year since completing my Master's degree. I have written a few short stories, which I may or may not decide to share here.
Other items that you can expect to see here include reviews/thought on what I am reading, watching, and listening to, as well as a healthy dose of randomness and day to day ramblings. Liz and I have also started a communal blog here: http://lizshelbywilson.blogspot.com, to chronicle our lives together, which most recently means Liz being pregnant. That's right, I'm going to be a father. Check out many more details about my impending fatherhood there.
