Top 100 Albums of All Time FAQ

Recently, I decided to compile a list of my top 100 albums of all time. I plan on updating with one album per day, and I will be starting at 100 and working my way down to 1. I will write something about each album. I think that the countdown will be a creative way to keep me writing on a daily basis. I also thought that I would lay out the guidelines that I used for selecting albums, as well.

Guidelines:
1. No more than two albums per artist. -- This rule I set up to provide some variety, otherwise, a lot of artists would get every album they have ever done in the top 100. If artists have more than one group they have played with, each group is eligible. For example, Ben Folds and Ben Folds Five are separate artists.
2. The album has to be a full-length record-- no EPs and singles. I believe I almost make an excuse, with a 9 track album, but someday, I will do an EP list as well, and it is just a little too long to be an EP.
3. No greatest hits, live albums, or compilations. Albums must be the artists' original intent. They put tracks in order for a reason, people.

I will link this FAQ on each post. I plan on starting tomorrow, April 30th.
